 "In business for about 20 years, our company started out as an importer of electrical appliances and air conditioners. Five years ago, we entered the lighting business. We now focus on importing LED lighting products for commercial and industrial applications in Spain. LED lighting products are preferred in the Spanish market because of longer lifespan, higher luminance and environmental friendliness. It’s our first visit to the Hong Kong fair because we want to have face-to-face meetings with our existing suppliers and also look for new suppliers. Quality is our priority when it comes to LED lighting. We have seen many suppliers which can meet our requirements, so we are confident that we can find suitable suppliers. The fair is very well-organised as it is divided into different product zones, facilitating buyers to locate suppliers."

 "Established in 1990, Golland creates lighting designs and sells lighting fixtures for use in offices, banks, shops and public areas in Poland. We made our first visit to the Hong Kong fair 15 years ago. Since then, we visit this fair every year to buy lighting parts and components and look for suppliers of lighting fixtures. We like this fair because we can always find something interesting and new here. At this year’s fair, we are particularly looking for special technical solutions which will be applied to our special lighting products for stadiums and airports and also new suppliers of lighting fixtures. We have identified three potential suppliers for the provision of lighting fixtures. We are sure that we can also find suitable technical solution providers at this fair."

 "Established in 1978, Gentos is a Japanese company specialising in flash lights, head lights, bicycle lights and desk lights, which now represent a market share of 45 per cent in Japan. Apart from selling domestically, we are keen to develop our export business. As Hong Kong is a trading hub of lighting products in this region, the Hong Kong fair serves an ideal platform for us to find overseas buyers. That’s why we have joined this lighting fair for the first time to promote our Gentos brand and look for distributors. So far, we have made useful contacts with more than 100 buyers from the Middle East, South America, Southeast Asia and the US. The results have been very good."

 "Founded in Korea in 2001, Novatech produces indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, industrial lighting and special purpose lighting. In the past, we focused on the domestic market in Korea. Starting from this year, we are eager to export our products to overseas markets. We have participated in the Hong Kong fair for the first time because it is one of the most prestigious lighting trade fairs in the world. We are taking this good opportunity to look for distributors and wholesalers who can partner with us to expand into overseas markets. We have met with many buyers from Europe, Japan and the US. Buyers are very interested in our industrial lighting and newly-developed OLED lighting. We are confident that we’ll secure overseas orders after the fair."
